SUBJECT: Just prior to the Slobodan Milosevic downfall, Serbia was found in a deep economic crisis. Serbian health service were deeply affected. Within the medical manufacturing companies the production was brought to a standstill and all import was suspended due to the economic sanctions imposed by the United States.
